Overview

FRED PARKING LOT™ is a Feature Recognition–visual based identification solution designed for non-campus parking environments.  Used for general and private parking facilities, as well as transportation-adjacent locations.

 

How It Works

​

Using camera-based recognition technology, the system identifies vehicles by license plate number (alpha/numeric) and monitors entry and exit activity without reliance on physical tickets/permits.

​

Capable of taking credit card information in advance (matches to the license plate), calculates and shares the number of available parking spaces and upon departure, bills for time used.  

​

Manages various term parking commitments.

 

Intended Environments

​

The module is intended for commercial, municipal, and private parking lots outside of campus environments.
