Also with FRED SR™ there is the FRED DASHBOARD™ that provides dynamic access for designated school admins and specified visibility for Care Givers of Student Rider (examples include entering notifications for absence, expelled and student tracking while in motion, while on the bus).

Overview

FRED JR™ is a Feature Recognition–visual based identification module designed for Student-Focused transportation and access environments. As outlined in the Feature Recognition Process – ID Access documentation, the system uses camera-based visual detection to recognize and log individuals as they enter or exit a defined conveyance or access point(s) for facilities.
How It Works

FRED JR™ utilizes cameras to visually detect and match live images to individual School ID's during entry and exit events. The system records identification activity without requiring carry-on credentials such as ID cards, badges, RFID's, or manual check-ins.
Intended Environments

This module is intended for use in school buses, youth transportation systems, and with the FRED Campus™ module, it can also check school-related access points where monitoring and awareness of individual presence is required. With this module it's also possible to identify when bussed students are dropped at school, but do not enter the school.
System Capabilities
The system provides visual confirmation of rider presence, entry, and exit activity, supporting operational awareness and transportation oversight.
